Keep it off the ground, I like to use pallets double stacked so there is plenty of airflow.

Damp equals creepy crawly insects, dry favors rodents. What is the lesser evil of those choices for you? ...

there are 2 nice bucks on this 150 acre plot, but, every time I see them, loudmouth Sassy barks before I can snap a pic. But , since being logged, there are a TON of grouse around the brushpiles Smile

And, from my 12 yrs. experience as a logging contractor...the standard tri-axle log truck holds approx. 9 full cord...with ave. loads weighing in at 2.5 tons /cord...ave NW PA hardwoods.

yep, they're gonna get burnt...the cutting boards were made from their 'scrap' too. it's a kiln drying/finishing mill facility, and the scrap pile of dried cut-offs is the size of a house Cool

I crumple up small pieces of tin foil to block the vent holes in my UDS'S . Is that a word?
