I'm using those restaurant pint size squirt bottles and I just clip the nozzle so that any flakes that want to pass through can.

Thin, mostly vinegar "sauce". Flakes that float on top. Needs to be shaken often.

I prefer to use my rib racks as a second rack! Cover grates with ribs, then set rib racks ON TOP of first layer, giving you another grate surface! I have found ribs bend, flop and touch each other too ...
