I'm no expert on brisket but I can tell you the Traeger Cookbook isnt worth using for tp. Get a good recipe and follow it. Works for everything else.

I suggest the Traeger rib rack, if you have a dealer near by. You can even turn it upside down and use it as a roast or poultry rack.

The problem with the Traegers is when using rib racks there are gaps on the front and back where the drip pan is. That causes the ribs to burn on both ends.
