Putting the CTO on a screened in porch was my first idea, but was told that in the lovely state I live in (Calif), ALL cooking equipment must be inside a fully enclosed trailer under a hood. Smile

Unfortunately not. I have done some more research, and since my OP, it looks like the only way is to use a through the wall smoker, thus the smoker opens into the enclosed kitchen.
