what color do you shoot for.. my birds are tasty and juicy, but the color isn't as appealing as I would like, a little on the lighter side... any tips, or should i just go with it.

they suggested 2 fist size chunks in addition to the charcoal L, i didnt has fist size, so i used 4 half fists.. so thats why it looks different.
