I am wanting to build an outdoor kitchen. Does anyone have any photos of theirs? During and after construction would help. Tips, accessories and advice are also welcome.

I'll be building one in the future. I found a couple of magazines/books at Home depot. I think I would like a brick upright smoker, some sort of grill built in. also an out door fire place. I would use pavers for the patio. i would run electric to it for the fridge. counter top would be granite, slate or a finished concrete. I might start next spring so its a good time to layout some plans. but the books really helped get me thinking

I have great plans for mine, I scored 9 pieces of granite 2' x 3' for counter top and have my Gas grill, 2 deep friers and some how going to incorporate my smoker into it! Can't wait to get started. Wink

Mine is not exactly an outdoor kitchen, but it is a separate building from the house. I built a metal building 9 X 9 X 8 ft. tall with a wide door. Built homemade counters inside and some small cabinets, and a lot of hanging hooks. I have enjoyed it. I can keep MY stuff separate from the wife's kitchen and don't have to rummage through her cabinets looking for a spice I need. When I am through with my kitchen I just close and latch the door and when I go back to it everything is where I left it. It is protected from rain, pests, etc. I have a picnic table outside the building that I can serve stuff on if I wish.

I've been enjoying my outdoor cooking area for a few years now. Cant remember what the inside kitchen looks like. Theres a link in my sig line that has pictures of my patio in it.

Have fun!
