Hey man! Welcome!!! Tell me what you think about JD reducing the proof of their whisky last year. I signed the petition to get it back to 90 proof now it's 80 proof and I think it has affected the flavor. Also as far as the Wild Turkey 101 is my fav how bout you? I just drink it over a bit of ice. _________________ Zilla

Hiya yourself.
I moonlight at a liquor store and I gotta say, I hadnt noticed the reduction of JD proof.
Most Bourbon is 80-86%.
I must admin though, Sales of JD has really fallen off. hmmm, I am surprised I never noticed, I feel very small right about now LOL.
To the Turkey... Gobble Gobble Baby. Straight or on the rocks is the ONLY way top partake of the Turkey.
Rare breed is an excellent Sippin experience to be sure.
WT is a bit sweeter and makes an excellent addition to sauces and mops. |

10-4 Dawg, I like both those whiskys very much. At about the same time as I discovered Bullet I also found 1796. That one is a bit too sweet for my taste but it's purty good. Evan Williams Single barrel is a great whisky and a great buy as well. I have a few Bullet bottles cleaned out with flavored oils in them. They have a great looking bottle too.
So many whiskys so little liver! _________________ Zilla

Crown if someone gives it to me

Outside of bourbon I also enjoy:
Bombay Sapphire Gin & Brokers London Dry Gin
Tito's Handmade Vodka
Scotch (all of them)
Patron Tequila
Dos Gusanos Mezcal
Don't get me wrong, I'm just as happy with Jose Cuervo, Stoli, etc, but when I want the best I look for one of those in the list. |

Wild Turkey 101, but I wouldn't waste it injecting into meats. |

If I was making vodka that good I'd call it Jim's Handmade Vodka. It's smoother than Stoli's Kristal (sp?) and it's made in Austin. |

Gives a whole new meaning to giving thanks
Bourbon:Has been, always will be...Evan Williams
Scotch:No thank you, prefer what the mother country puts out.
Irish Whiskey:Yes please, make it a Bushmills
Gin:Only at a vomitorium
Vodka: Skyy or Grey Goose...the only ones that taste like nothing(to me anyway)...which is how I like my vodka
Rum:Only before noon, Matusalem Gran Reserve
Beer:Guinness, the only beer I know of _________________ Mike

Oh yeah beer:
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Stone IPA

Burbons and wiskies are my favorite liquors
1. Jim Beam Black
2. Jim Beam
3. Jack Dainiels, (haven't tried the single barrel or the gentlemen jack yet...)
4. Southorn comfort, its sweet I know, but damn good mixed with hawian punch or cherry coke.
I'm pretty easy when it comes to beer any american light will do, I also like coronas and some candain beer I got to have while up there for a while. _________________ Alabama GrillBillies Cook Team
