Looks good so far. Grenadine eh? Hmm...could be very interesting.

I haven't used that but I have used cherry whiskey as a quick marinade before.

Ron, We loved your Hint of Houston rub. Just enough spice to it and not too much sodium. I have been using it on everything lately. May have to drop another order. Cool

Look on the bottom shelf of the bourbon section at the liquor store. Cheap and not exactly targeted to the refined palate. Lots of teenagers have stories to tell about cherry bourbon (and cherry vodka, etc.).

Mine was Amaretto. I can't even eat an amaretto cookie to this day! Rolling Eyes

But I can still stand the sight of Tango! Wink

Nice lookin' ribs there JDeSimone!!!

Yes, the cherry whiskey or cherry brandy is part of a sweet, 'kids' drink popular with the ladies called a Cherry Hooker. Sweet as candy but potent in mass quantities. I don't normally soak my ribs but it does make a nice marinade. I don't think anyone would want to use the good, sippin' stuff for rib soak.
