| I have a 50/50 mix of venison and pork. My neighbor made burgers and gave me the rest of the mix. There is also diced onion, crackers and some eggs in there. I want to smoke it in meatloaf fashion but not sure of the temp I should be shotting for. I would assume 165 just because it's half pork. |

What temp did you end up getting it to? I would think that even though it's a mix of pork and venison, that you would want to go more on the rare side for pork as that's going to be the well-done side for venison and you don't want to over-cook the venison. _________________ Scott V.
