Wow this looks good! wonder how pineapple pie filling would work? for the non daring people that want something more traditional at my house. might have to make both. |

Doesn't pineapple contain enzymes that break down meat proteins? It may make the ham mushy. |

Now that looks great and would of tried it for easter, but didn't see this post until now and Im already doing a shank with a Dr Pepper recipe I whipped up just to see if my ideas would work.
