This Really is Not a Welding Topic........
But I feel , This Is Where I can get a Presidental Solution To A Problem That I am Facing ?
DO You guy's have Any Idea , as to where I can Find Some 24" wide
" Roll Up " Steel Doors Similar to what you see on some of those Fancy MAC , and Snap-On Tool Boxes ?

Those would make some cool doors for a smoker. Cool Aren't they aluminum? Might have some heat loss issues though. I don't know where you could score some unless you talk to a Mac or Snap-on dealer. As a matter of fact I'll check with a friend for you if you like but you can bet they will be pricey. Shocked

I helped a buddy build a small workshop not to long ago and he used one of those roll up doors. I think he got it at the local Overhead Door Company. They could make about any size that you wanted but beware, it was pretty pricey.

I found a Manufacturer in Albq. That makes them for Firetrucks.......
Should have a price sometime today.

If you have to buy them attached to the firetruck they are going to be expensive! Rolling Eyes Wink Laughing

Might Not Be Using Them At All ......First Price Quote is 5 to 600.00
For 2 24'x36" doors???????Plus Lead time and Shipping.....
I'm hoping Clarke Fire Equipment in Albuquerque is less ??
The Main Reason I wont use for Firebox Doors.....They are Aluminum????

I was thinking for the main smoke chamber doors. I bet you could make your own out of carbon strips with some piano hinges though. So waddaya want to do with them?

Did a G Shocked gle search for 'metal tambour doors' and found some different places to try.
