Well We rolled out another brand new Airplane.
This one is alot better shape then the other one.
Mostly made in America unlike the other one..
She is a real beauty..And it is freakin huge.
This link is so long I thought we were going to have to widen the site or make it bend round a little!

Thanks for posting Whitey. One of my best friends is an acting chief at our Toronto airport. If this thing ever lands here one day, he'll be the first one there. Ususally great stories come out of these planes, just like the time he got to tour the Airbus 380. Truly amazing. There's a lot more going on inside than people will ever know. _________________ WSM 18.5"

I didn't realize that you guys still made 747's. I have never had the opportunity to fly on one and though I wasn't going to have the opportunity. I love the 777 and have been looking forward to the flying on a 787. Wonder if AA is going to buy one of these.

Very nice!
I miss my dad working at the B.
Course by the time he asked for them to cut him lose he was in Cali under a security clearance.
Nothing like being at the Seattle field and walking around and through the hangars checking out all of the planes. _________________ #3 LIAR

Last Year was the last 747-400..
This is an all new design..Notice the streched upper deck goes all the way back to the back of the wing..Lots more room upstairs.
It is going to give the Big Airbus a run for its money..Plus it doesnt have to have new terminals built it can use what is already in place.
Soapm
Automatic 1 speed slip and slide..
Yep new plane smell at no additional cost.Thats included at the discounted price of $200 million.

FINALLY got that bird 'up in the air' . I'll take a Gin and Tonic and sit upstairs in the 'non-smoking section' (two rows behind the card on top of the seat saying "NO SMOKING"). Some of us older flying farts remember them days!

I can't wait to see the first local one built and take off from CHS. That will be an exciting day. The hanger looks like a small city would fit inside.
Whitey, that 747 is awesome. They have always been exciting planes to watch. _________________ Somewhere in Kenya...a village is missing their idiot. |

He started out as a machinist at the Auburn plant. Moved through the ranks and they sent him to school for engineering. He ended up in the SPEEA union. When the cutbacks happened his only option was to go to the LA area and work there. They would send him home every 2nd weekend, he got tired of that real quick and asked for his walking papers. I wish he would have hung in there for a few years cause he would have been able to retire. Instead he drives long haul now and is only home every 12th week. _________________ #3 LIAR

I'll take mine in the pilots seat. I wouldn't dream of drinking and driving but flying's a little different...

I'm only 48 but I do recall those cards didn't contain the smoke very well. And nothing like smelling those ashtrays in the armrest for an entire flight... |

That's a sweet ride! What airlines are ordering them?
I hate those Airbus plastic crap planes. The seat backs actually bend! _________________ Pat
