Anybody else play a little guitar? Acoustic or electric? Me and my manager are taking a little time while we're cooking or what little downtime we have to get in some practice. I have taken lessons on and off for years but never kept it up till now. I guess it's the blues we listen too all the time that gets to me! Cool

I'm a hacker... can play about any riff that I want. Just don't ask me to finish the song. Embarassed Confused Rolling Eyes

I currently have a hand made Alvarez-Yairi 12 string, made back in '75. I injured my wrist in a dirt bike accident years ago, and it's tough getting wrapped around that wide neck. I've contemplated trading it for a Martin D-18.

I also have an American Strat (maple body) and one of those Fender Cyber-Twins. It's waaaay too much amp for my domestic needs, but it's pretty cool.

So what are you playing?

4littlepigs, ya i've been playing for 30 yrs. Was in a band that we started in high school then we sort of had to stop 10 yrs ago because our other guitarist fell ill. Had real good times playing especially when you had our approach of just play for the fun of it and don't think of making it big. Lots of money made over the years playing the bars and also released 3 cd's which one of them actually went to #2 on the college charts in Calgary, Edmonton area. I have a Les Paul Standard and Ibanez for electric, and just purchased a Simon and Patrick acoustic last year after playing a Seagull for a while. Greatest influences were Jimmy Page, Randy Rhodes, Kirk Hammet and Slash, and you said it, any Blues. "I Sold My Soul For Rock'nRoll". Peace.

Between the 2 of us we've got a couple of 6 string Mitchell MD-200s and 300s, a Fender 6 string, 2 Fender Strats and a Gibson Les Paul. Just like smokers and guns you can't have enough guitars! I'm not quite as accomplished as my manager but I'm getting better. We actually have a couple of guys that are coming in every now and then and just sitting and jamming a little in the evenings. It's starting to draw a few people. We both like everything from BB King, Johnny Lang, Clapton, Skynard and CCR to most country and contemporary christian.

Once upon a time. Still have an acoustic, but sold my Les Paul, Ibanez, and Marshall half stack several years back. Honestly I miss my drums more than the guitars.
