Ooops, my bad. That's the bottom of the disk isn't it? I was looking at it after a hard azz day and about 4 beers into a 6 pack when I responded. It kinda looks like cover. I'll shut up now.

Im not Denny, but yes. Get the grease over the whole cooking surface. Veggy oil, lard, EVOO works too. Get it smokin hot but not so hot it burns the carbon off.

bacon or lard is the treatment mine gets. get that sucker super hot wipe it with lard or bacon do that 5-10 times and your good to go brother

No pics. But i did get it out next to the Weber this evening and coated it with some lard. Let it cool and put it away. Going to do this a few times over the next few days until i think its coated nice and good.
The burner sounds like a focking freight train and had the neighbor looking over... Shocked

The burner does make alot of noise when cranked up ,but trust me it only needs a couple of turns on the valve and thats all the heat you will need. Very Happy

No, I have gotten busy with work and a new job.
I feel like a dick about it.
And i will be out riding next weekend so there will still be some time before i get to use it.
