Troy, I can here him now. This P.O.S. doesn't work and its warranty is up. Chuck the welder doesn't come with its own 401k man you have to use it to get some benefit from it. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

RLane22,
Thanks bro! I have plans for 3 new cookers, but will not start building the first of them until the fall. Just don't have any time for my stuff right now.
cody,
Thanks for the post bro!
My brother Troy,
I understand, that you have got to razz me on this, But you didn't have to get Kevin going too! You sure are good at stirring the pot bro. And I am enjoying the new welder smell for a bit longer.
My other brother Kevin,
You have made 3 good points and I have no worthy comeback for you , but I did take the hood out of the box and turned it on tonight... I'm making progress bro! _________________ SEE YA!

Mike said on his thread,
| Quote: | Sooo... as soon as we can get you to throw the switch on your new Blue...?? yeah, yeah, I know ..., in the fall... |
Troy went on to say on Kevin's thead,
| Quote: | With the exception of it being 27 pages longer, this is starting to look like a Chuckied "The New Toys are IN" thread. Alot of its sitting here but I havent worked on it yet, or I still have it, just havent used it yet, too hot, too windy, too tired, too old Id be happy to even see you tack a new piece of angle iron on it! |
Kevin, Mike & TROY!
The long wait is over boys!
I got a chance to play for a couple hours today and she works fine.

You are a patient man Chuck. Glad to hear it works fine. Real fine...and... the finished cooker must be around front then? _________________

Chuck, I am glad it works for you at 9:00 P.M. in your country. Although it was working for you at 11:00 P.M. over here in the States.
Your a Good Friend so I am going to accept a hood sitting on a table as it works, most folks I would expect two or more pieces of metal stuck together. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Well glad to see you can still run a bead, but I bet I can speak for Mike, Kevin & Bruce when I say | Quote: | | it would be better to see a bead on a UDS |
Glad you got it fired up before the warrenty ran out bro! You should be healed from your birthday by now, so get your a$$ in gear and get to doing some metal burning! _________________ Trailers By Troy

Of course he used it. It's in a different location from the last pics, isn't it? You wouldn't dupe us, would ya Chuck? The old having the neighbor pick up your newspaper when on vacation so folks will think you're home trick? _________________

I would not dupe you or Kevin bro… TROY on the other hand... he!! yes! The cooker is in the garage, I was in cleanup mode when I remembered I needed to take a pic, I would have done one earlier but I had to recharge the battery on my camera… Although I did not weld on the cooker, just some scrap plate that is not visible in the pic (too dark) . I would not test my welder out on Bruce’s cooker and I’m glad I didn’t. There is going to be a small learning curve on this machine.

I will now add you to the party list... The give Chuck crap about his welder/cooker build party list!
Again the plate isn't visible in the pic... but it is there & it is stuck together bro.

Ya know... I... I kinda loose track of the time over in the U.S... I'm so far away and all... and I stuck two pieces of scrap together you just can't see'um.

You get CAPS cause you are King of stirring the Chit on this thread!
I don't think I'm going to get the chance to play with the uds until mid next month, my a$$ is in gear Just too many family gigs and other projects in the way bro.
I was wondering if the welder was going to work, after the guy tossed it off the truck.
Guys,
I have a couple small welding favors and a patio + lots of family gigs + "SMOKE-O-RAMA 2011" to complete before winter, soooo... Welding on Bruce's uds is on the back burnner for a bit longer. _________________ SEE YA!

Sticking two pieces of angle together with JBweld does not count Chuck. I know its called liquid metal but we know the difference. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.
