I have been browsing the forum off and on for a year or so. But, I finally decided to join. Great place you have here. Seems to be a lot of nice, knowledgeable people.

Anyway, I have owned a discada for over ten years. I never knew what it was called. When I was a freshman in high school the ag/shop teacher had this tractor disc with handles he was about to throw away. I asked him about and he said it was to cook on. So, I took it.

It has three short legs on it and he said it was so you could set it on a bed of charcoal. So, I did and grilled a few burgers on it and it cooked well. It was a neat conversation piece, but I soon grew bored with it and hung it up in the shop.

A few months ago I was going to the drag races, so I decided to go get it out and use it as a grill inside my fire pit. Still worked pretty well.

A few days ago I stumbled across this section of the forum and decided to cook up some fajitas on it and share some pics with you guys. (As soon as I figure out how.)

Sorry for the long post. But, I am up smoking my first brisket. More info on that later.....

OK, I think I figured it out.

Little bacon to season the disk.

A few onions.

Added the steak.

All mixed up.

Warming the tortillas.

Couple of close-ups.

I resized the photos before uploading. Hope they are correct. If not, I apologize.
