Enough is enough, already. I broke down last evening/morning
around drunk fifteenish and ordered a 26" 6.5mm with a supposed
3 and1/4" concavity disc, a banjo burner, a couple of chipping
hammers (for cheap handles), and some unnecessary impulse
stuff from AgriSupply. I feel both lucky to get off as cheap as I did
given my condition, and glad to finally pull the trigger on an itch
thats been under my skin for too long. Y'alls posts have made it
rather difficult for a brother to hold out and resist, but I guess
impossible to do so with the aid of a bunch of Stella Artois lagers
on your side!
I woke up today thinking about it, and know it was the right
decision to make - albeit a late one. Anywho, now the waiting... _________________ Family, Q, Fishing, & Wishing.

I know the feeling. If I have an evening of poppin' a few too many tops the next two weeks yield a lot of junk from Ebay. |

No doubt. I remember being overseas and something nearly as
dangerous as drinking and driving was - drinking and dialing!

| Tug, you're not alone in doing what you did. When it's all set you'll be happy with it. It could be worse, some infomertial crap at 4 am. Good luck building it. |

Got my goodies in yesterday! I didn't get to check them
out until today, but I'm impressed. They meant every
bit of the 6.5 mm. The burner assembly could have been
packed a little better ( some dings and scratches to the
enamel of the ring), yet overall its satisfactory enough for
me. Now allow me to say.. Holy Cow this disc is huge!
Though I was ordering under the influece, I knew I was
getting a disc smaller than HFG's. What wasn't so obvious
at the time was that 26" is still rather large. (Mumbling
"Moron," or some other explicative right now will be
completely excused )
Tomorrow night or Saturday I hope to be hanging out
with a most competent union pipeliner, who will hopefully
help me get closer to the finish line. Heres pics:
I believe that school desk is going to make for a great
operating height until a more mobile solution rolls in.
Hopefully 1st cook news/pics are just around the corner! _________________ Family, Q, Fishing, & Wishing.

Tug, nice looking setup you ordered.
26" is a big disk. Every fitter I know work for beer and food.
Get extra beer, they seem to like drinking more than eating. |

True dat! Especially those from Louisianna! We hung out
last night, and did nothing else. Now we're planning for
next weekend after the 4th. _________________ Family, Q, Fishing, & Wishing.

Nice rig, you're gonna love it. I wanted that 10" banjo burner (bigger is better) but came to my senses (a sober, lucid moment ) and got two 6 inchers for my 22's. (Making 2 burner rigs). _________________ I was taught to respect my elders. It's just getting harder to find them.

mattp, It most certainly will leak unless plugged up
like the others you'll see in this particular forum. I've just
received mine, and have yet to perform the operation. I'm
excited to get it underway, though! _________________ Family, Q, Fishing, & Wishing.
