J.O., You need to hurry up and maybe you can bring some cooler temps with you. Laughing

Thank you bigmike782, Very Happy just years of welding and fitting. I started out fitting and have always loved torch work.
My face shield is a Jackson I love it because it allows me to comfortably where my eye glasses and no fogging occurs.

I got to work on the cooker today. I finished the tuning plates and got the warming chamber welded out. I will cut and fit up the slide damper on the cooking chamber before the warmer gets put on.
The finished tuning plates closed up for R/F use.

The plates stacked and open for regular use.

The warming chamber coming together.

Got the top on and had to tweak the plates a bit.

The pieces went together nicely.

This is the penetration you get when you corner the plates.

I need to knock out the braces and clean up the tacks and then she will be ready to set on top the firebox.

I hope the weather broke some, looks like you burned a few rods over the weekend. Shocked
I love the tube idea for fitting up the plates, a idea I'm sure to steal.
Looks like you are in the home stretch on this, keep up the outstanding work.

Looking good Kevin. I like how you put the straps on the tuning plates to overlap like that, thats a good idea. Glad you got at least one nice dry day to work on the rig.

Looking good my friend Very Happy
