Kevin; This is beginning to look like the learning channel with a fresh idea every time you post updates. Look forward to the next episode. Very nice, and well done. _________________ Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never

k.a.m., ain't no such thing as scrap brother.
I tell my girl all the time when she gets on me about all my junk, it isn't junk, it is material waiting for a purpose.
If I threw anything out, I'd be lookin for it a week later. |

Very true GF, I should have said drops instead. Now a days I find myself keeping 3" pieces for whatever.
Thank You ckone, I am hoping and praying y'all and the rest of the state get some relief real fast we need it. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

k.a.m. everything is coming together very nice. Finally getting a break from the heat , can't ask for any better as for as the low's go but the highs could be about 10 or 15 degrees lower, that would make it perfect IMO. _________________ I'm not 50 yrs. old I'm 21 with 29 yrs. experience.

Thank You roscoe1960, I figure we are not far from the cooler temps.
Thank you Ernie, I hope it works as planned.
This evening I got the warming chamber up and on the firebox. First I cut out the hole on the cooking chamber then set the box to align it up. Once this was done I marked the warming chamber hole and cut it out.
Got her snugged up for marking.
Ready to mark the second cut and move for cutting.
The warming camber back in place and tacked down.
The hole size is 6" wide x 5" tall.

"Keeping up with the Joneses" is sooo not applicable in this arena. "k.a.m. culture" is the happening here. First it was sealing the doors for a tight cooker. Now we're sealing tuning plates. You're raising the bar just to achieve half-assed bro. So much for BS'n the way thru bling. Great idea on the plates Kevin. I like it too much. _________________
