Wow - that's quite the rig! All kinds of things going on with that critter! The high-mounted doors on the firebox seem unusual for a DP-style cooker - and is that box-like structure at the back/over the firebox some kind of warming chamber?

Yup. All kinds of things going on! I'll be waiting to read how it runs for you!

Cheers!

Yea, the box is a warmer.

Once you get your wood burning clean, you shut off your intake dampers, and the fire is fan controlled from there.

Dave,

Yep, it's a Cadillac from Sikeston. Mine is supposed to be done in about 2 weeks from this Friday, then I will be heading that way to pick it up.

Thanks, I work in Versailles, but I live in Owen Co. I guess technically I should have listed myself as northern Ky, but too many people consider that part of Cincinnati Rolling Eyes .

chuckied,
Thanks, I can't wait either, but damn I'm nervous!

Kevin don't be nervous, you'll love the rotisserie. I bought one from the other place in Sikeston. The more you cook the better it taste, its all self basting, just keep the chicken over chicken, beef over beef, and pork over pork. I ruined a big brisket last year having rib drippings baste the brisket, good luck and post pictures.

I assume you are talking about mule tuff, or is there another one?

I don't know what is going on, but I think there may be a little bad blood going on between them guys!

I am not so nervous about the cooker itself, as I am getting the opportunity's to keep it full and smoking!

don't know about bad blood, yes I have a mule tuff, its a great smoker and your Cadilllac is a great cooker too, I know people on this site like to down play rotisserie smokers, but they are wonderfull to cook on. We have an offset, a bullet and a rotisserie and the rotisserie produces the best food.
good luck

I may have not been clear in my wording, but mule tuff, and Cadillac seems to have some sort of differences. Maybe it is friendly competition, but due to the similarities of their cookers, and location, I suspect a little more, but I like conspiracy theories, Shocked
