Discada Newbie (Pictures added)

I've been smoking for a few years and decided to try something new! I have a discado that should be here on Monday! I ordered a 22" disk from SouthwestDisk. Looks like a good quality disk for a good price. I've hopefully learned a lot by looking at all to other ringers posts. Hopefully I'll have some pictures up soon.

Rectived the Disc today and got it seasoned and tried some chicken and stir fry vegetables. Was great for a first cook! What's for dinner tomorrow?

Did you buy a burner to go with it, or could you use a burner meant for a deep fried turkey pan?

I bought the burner from them. It is 65,000 btu, not sure what the turkey fryer is, but it might be worth a try!

How do you like the burner? I am thinking of getting the same but with the 24" disc. Thanks for the pics.

I think the burner is great. It's high quality and puts out a lot of heat. The disk was ready to cook on in about 3 minutes, and I didn't have in fully on.
