Ernie, good to see you working on the cooker again. I'm not sure if youll be able to beat Denny on his build or not. Last I heard he was at least looking at it as he walked by it out in the yard. Thats the most attention its got in quite a while, he might be on to something _________________ Trailers By Troy

erniesshop, That is a big cooker.
Next time the back wheels are lifting, you could put that big pipe elbow on the back, I'm sure you still got it kicking around. |

Ah yes...the inspirational pipe elbow. Now I remember where this left off. Maybe the snow and cold fixed those doors. Now if those had been just 4 legs instead of the skids, this load job on the trailer could have been one long thread...still might be, eh? Good to see it and you back on it Ernie. _________________

No barley pops is why it took so long.
Never mind a boat anchor, that elbow should be chromed, the day after you toss it you'll need it for something, don't ask how I know. |

Snow? In New Mexico? I've only been across there once and it sure didn't look like snow country. Or did I miss the joke? _________________ SCOTTIE

Wow! You ain't kidd'in! I thought you guys were year round desert dwellers. Thanks for the education. Most of my trips are by motor bike so I'll be sure to avoid you in December.
So that is one monster cooker. What is the dish of choice in NM ? Pig - Cow - Chicken ? _________________ SCOTTIE

This is what the trailer looked like when I found it......Had ugly all over it.....But the price was right......FREE !
It had a 2 x 3 angle frame , so I decided to make it a little stronger.
First thing I did was strip the wood deck off , and put some new Fender's on.....
Then I started adding some 2 x 4 tubing , to beef up the frame.
Then we added some angle Iron to attach a new MDF Floor.
Tommarow , we will start on the deck behind the smoker.
Kam , Trailer Builder.....Wreckless , What do you all think...Strong Nuff ?

Ernie... You obviously have your ducks in a row. Looks fine to me Go to town with it. Angle and tubing... The fender addition was a top notch idea, looks great! Angle and tubing... _________________
