I am sort of new to smoking and have a couple of BBQ cookbooks with numerous pork recipes, but I don't eat pork. I heard somewhere that you can substitute lamb for pork and it will come out similarly. Has anyone tried this? Does it come out well? If so, what sort of sauce do you recommend? Thanks. |

I use sholer of lam and cook it the same way I do pulled pork. It turns out great. I don't use the same rubs though. |

They cook in a similar manner, all meat does!
For lamb recipes search for lamb or cabrito, (goat kid), here http://www.thesmokering.com/forum/search.php _________________ Here's a change Robert.

I do lot's of substitutions for lot's of ingredients. Most recipes are guidelines and suggestions. The biggest exception to this is baking pastry. 'Most everything else is fair game. _________________ Joe |
