Yes this is the same place that was on DDD with Guy and Kid Rock. It is a few minutes from home so I decided to give it a try. All in in all the experience was good. The food was excellent. We will visit again.

The visit started off good with a heavy smoke smell coming from the building. After a 30 minute wait we finally got seat. 20 minutes later we were able to place an order. This place packs in the customers in a hurry. Get there well before 5 if you want to eat at a reasonable time.

I ordered the brisket dinner and added a quarter chicken meat side (they call it a side car). My wife had the pulled pork dinner. We both went for different sides. She the mac N cheese and I forgot the other item. I ordered up the collard greens and tater salad. Be shared the meats and sides (except the collards.........she wont eat them) My son went for their version of a juicy lucy. Looked awesome.

The brisket was tender and flavorful. Definitely the best I have had in a raunt in Michigan it was however not good enough to order it again. The pulled pork was awesome as was the chicken. Their cornbread muffins were darn tasty. Next time I will try the ribs and get a side of chicken.

I made it a point to try all of their sauces. Their Texas sauce was ok, the bama white sauce was gross, as was the Kansas city sauce (too sweet for me). They had a Carolina vinegar sauce that was available upon request and was quite tasty.....and low and behold they had a mustard sauce!!!!!........I think someone there reads our lovely forum because it was a spot on copy of Roxy's mustard sauce. The mustard sauce was by far the best sauce in the house.

If in the area give it a try.
