Welcome aboard ArtisanBeard.
It will probably be a little while.
With so many of us under a burn ban, we can't have fires outside.
Come on RAIN. _________________ Gunny 3073/4044/8411

I think we need a Thanksgiving Winter Wonderland throwdown.
Anyone up for a Turkey or Ham throwdown for the end of the month? _________________ JM2C, BWTFDIK, YMMV, MDN!

I'm in Chris. I'll make sure I have a full propane bottle.
I sure miss my FEC and WSM's out here.
Which meat is it, Turkey, Ham or Both? _________________ Gunny 3073/4044/8411

I'd like it to be either, or both, cooks choice, but we will judge it, 'Turkey only', 'Ham only' and 'Combined'! _________________ JM2C, BWTFDIK, YMMV, MDN!

SoEzzy, what's the schedule for this? After thanksgiving?
I'm gonna be away for a while before, if it's after, I'm in.
I can't do worse than the whole yak throwdown. |

I was thinking to have pictures including, ingredients, on the pit, carving, plating, and have them all posted by Friday 30th November, then to begin judging by December 1st and complete by the end of day on the 8th.
You can cook anytime between now and then and still enter the throwdown.
Please cook the items yourself, don't buy the ingredients and have someone else cook them for you, then post the pictures and call it your cook. _________________ JM2C, BWTFDIK, YMMV, MDN!

Would I do something like that to you Kevin?
Just cause you gave me the WRONG directions to your house and you plan on coming to Springfield AFTER I left.
NAW, I wouldn't do that to you there, "Little Buddy"

John, I'm pretty sure it's just like up here in Central Cal.....
Wild turkeys wandering around the lawn areas in EVERY office park ~~~>
Open season anytime you can pull it off .....
