Hey Guys I am in southern Florida. Not many ways to get smoking wood when you want it with out paying through the nose. So I hustle a limb here and there when I can. Well it can I ended up with a few piles of wood in my very small Florida back you. So Looking at my Cat Gravity Feed Food bowl I came up with a way to keep my wood net, clean, dry, and I hope aged properly.

New wood gets dropped in the top.

Perfectly Aged wood gets pulled out the bottom.....I hope.

This has been working great for me. No more putting new wood on the bottom and new wood on top, and no more paying for wood in a pinch.

I really like this idea! Are these split sized pieces or sure they larger chunk sizes?

Sorry I have not been here in a while. I try to make them about fist/coke can size. They fit into the Z charcoal basket in my cooker that way.
