I've looked at a couple of them, but they want a deserved $20,000 - $40,000 and my pockets are just not deep enough for that sort of expense! _________________ Here's a change Robert.

Yes, that would be way too step for my bank account too!
Here's a link to a discussion about a DIY trailer setup.

My concerns would be how it would hold up on America's decaying road system. At least in my area! _________________ Homemade offset smoker 24"x48"

Thanks Tom.
Brings up most of the points I have about the whole thing, but it does have the little gray cells whirring away in my head, and who knows where that will end up! _________________ Here's a change Robert.

I think it could be a nice set up and money maker if you could get a setup that could be roaded without paying a small fortune. _________________ Homemade offset smoker 24"x48"

Your link lead to a link, that lead to a link etc, that put me on the track to a couple of places that make me think that some where between $5,000 and $7,000 may make it possible!
Not that the reduced price mean I can do it tomorrow, but it's a whole lot more realistic than the $20,000 +.
I'll follow up and let everyone know what I find out! _________________ Here's a change Robert.
