i am in the process of building a smoker, i currently have it designed on the side but i am limited on space on the trailer.. does it make a difference if the firebox is located on the side or rear? see attached please

cadmaster, I am sure it will work I would however be concerned about how well the draft will be affected as far as grate temps. As with any cooker once you learn her sweet spots you should be okay. I look forward to seeing how well it works if you go that direction. Very Happy
