Your cooker turned out amazing TrailerBuilder. Thank you for taking the time to post all the pics with a good description of the steps you took. I love all the weatherproof storage you have on the trailer and the layout is second to none. A very balanced look with tons of creative concepts. Can't wait to see it in action. _________________ 250 Gallon Trailer Build |

Oh no. If that happened, you'd have to fire them within a week for drinking on the job You'd have to change your name too. But I'd say you could knock down your backlog pretty quick. Just saw pics of the cooker you did for mwlovelace. Awesome looking pit. You do fine work, sir. _________________ "Never trust a skinny cook."

Troy as usual you knocked it out of the park. As they say good things come to those who wait. We waited longer than you wanted but we got a great looking cooker _________________ RF Smoker

Thank you BurnBern It was a fun, but extremely drawn out build, but Im ready for another one. It pulls great down the road, don't even hardly know she's there. The trailer frame and everything where heat was not an issue was primed and then I used rustoleum high heat paint on everything on the trailer and cooker. Ive had really good luck with this paint and its easy to either spray or roller or brush on.

The underside of the trailer and all the interior of the boxes I used Van Sickle paint. I use this paint on all of my trailer builds and absolutely love it.

Kevin, as always thanks brother. Im sure there will be another project coming soon we can sit and talk about.
Thank you wango
Thank you xring01
Thank you missionsusmc, Kevin and I jab each other quite a bit, which is always fun, but we both have a high respect for one another and each others work and when working on a project, you cant have a better guy to throw ideas at, unless he brings up that scrap iron crap! Had the cooker weighed today, she came in a little over 2400lbs, a little more than I wanted, but there is a lot of material there. The possibilities of the bank buying it went out the door once my contact did to another job, and visiting with the interested folks at the church, we have come up with another design to hopefully hit the floor before long (X5), so as of right now, she is sitting for sale patiently in the garage waiting on a buyer to come along...parked closely to mamas car
Flyingj, Thank you my friend. I appreciate your kind words and if you can find anything in the pics you like, don't hesitate to steal away.
Paul, Thank You Brother! I truly appreciate it! Was a pleasure visiting with you on the phone this evening. Don't think the k.a.m. Wreckless and TrailerBuilder crew should visit your shop...maybe you didn't see the video from the last time we all hung out together.
Thank you gotwake
Thank you enduro

Awesome and well done.
Now that you are done what do you think of the shelf placement right at the bottom of the cooker doors. I have a small (3") separation between my shelf and the door to my RF and i wish i had about 3" more so i could set a large catering pan down and open the smoker door without worry that i am going to knock it off.
just wanting to know your thoughts.
again well done my man this thing looks amazing! |

Thank you jar, I really appreciate it!
Thank you deere green, I appreciate the kind words. I tossed the shelf placement around quite a bit, and even at one time thought about no shelf at all. I didn't want it sitting to low and end up on the fender, so I built the shelf the way I wanted and then just put it where it looked best with the cooker. Now, is it functional? Sure it is...with complications. On a smaller cook, and using only the left side of the cooker and door, a person can sit things in front of the right door and be fine. A person can open both doors and then sit things on there and work. There are pros and cons all the way around I know, but in the end, I feel for the look I wanted, it needed to be on there and where its at, and whoever ends up with this cooker and masters it, will have a method that will make it functional every time...or cuss me
Thank you Mike, always good to get kudos from you brother. _________________ X2 Finished Build
