Just came from Costco here in Oregon. Brisket packers, prime, are selling for $2.99/lb. Have at 'em if you're near one.

My costco close to me stopped selling brisket....even though they only sold flats......
they were AAA flats...they just stopped selling them.
I was paying $4.99 a pound but they were good. Crying or Very sad
Its really getting hard to find a half decent full brisket around me....
nothing worse than paying good money only to come home and trim 4 pounds of fat off it.

I just did some price comparing and here briskets aren't exactly a bargain. My local Harris Teeter is asking $8.00/lb for a Choice flat and Sam's Club is at $5.00/lb for a Choice flat. I'll check out Walmart as soon as I can. I just hate paying that kind of money to lose 1/2 the weight during cooking. Sad

Yup, had to do a double take when I was at Costco this past weekend. Not only were they selling full packers, they were usda prime, and $2.99/lb!!!!
