If you use photobucket go to your profile and set the auto resize to 640 x 480.

I just spent an hour trying to get them all sized right. It is a pain but, as the saying goes, "it is what it is".

I use photobucket, and even when I set my account to import at 640, I invariably get one or two that come in too long.

Even when I resize them on the laptop, it seems to sometimes just change on their own to a larger size somehow.

Guess that is just WAM (wild a$$ magic), not to be confused with KAM (mentoring BBQ guru and master pit builder).
Very Happy

So for now, I post and go back and add pics when I can have my computer set up with both monitors, keyboard and real mouse - as opposed to when working just off the laptop.

and another 15 minutes trying to resize an avatar pic to a size/file that the program likes

Sorry EZ, not trying to copy you, but I have had that pic as me for a long time. It's that or a Mt Dew bottle for most of my profile pics in courthouses that I work in. Smile

I took that picture about 30 yards from the bear in Alaska at a conservation area. They said I wouldn't see any grizzlies that late (late Sept.). They were wrong.
