I know for me its been about skiing instead of Q'ing but it is supposed to be 70 here Wednesday!

also this dumb ass diet has left me making pretty plan ribs to work on the texture and killer spice rubs without sugar verse sauces.

We need a pinned thread to where we can come to and check in, once every couple of months so we know everyone is doing alright. God bless you all my fellow ringers.

Fixing this decade long plus pic. situation that has only
gotten worse with photo bucket would be a big step in the right direction. Sure miss a lot of good people...

I look at the forum about everyday but haven't posted since the photo bucket incident. I think the ability to directly upload photos would make a big difference.

What other forums would you recommend for the kind of informative discussions about cooking BBQ that made the Ring great back in its glory days?

Here for my weekly visit...

There are plenty of other forums. I'll respect the Ring & not say any out loud. Hopefully the PMs you guys have been sent will set you off in the right direction.

It is sad that this forum has fallen so behind the times with their technology. I know it takes money to run a site...but the other guys do it...and this site used to be as busy as many of these guys are now.

I have been posting a bit in other forums but this place has always been my go to forum for great info and the guys are all great....it was well run.
I wish it could be freshened up and start drawing all the Smoke Ring Brothers back together.

If that was ever going to happen it would have occurred by now.

Things were made clear well before the Photobucket ransom.

That just provided the final straw.

I appreciate all the work SoEzzy did here.

RIP TSRF
