I came on site this pm to look up a recipe for pickled sausage by Mceggs to use in some red beans & rice.
Three hrs. later I took a break, (out of beer).
Even after over ten yrs. as a member I am still amazed
at the amount of information here. It would be criminal to let this all slip away...

Amen bro.
Any question I have about cooking or building cookers is answered here. Used to be answered (almost) in real time! Mayhaps if enough of us keep hanging around the ring will survive.

Is there something going on that could shut all of this down?

I was just thinking that I'd love to see the site updated a little bit; some of the other forums I use either have different software or a newer version or something and they are such a pleasure to use.

Not that it's miserable to use this one, but you never realize how nice it is to be able to preview a post by rolling over it with the mouse 'till you don't have it.

They are simply referring to how this site used to be...much like other sites are today...busy & bustling with information.

And I fully agree that updates are desperately needed, but the site admin seems ok with letting it die a slow, agonizing death. They refused to update years ago & here it sits...a dinosaur.

While all that has been said is true. Then add the issue with all the old pics not being visable. This is still an awesome resource. (IMHO JM2C)

I couldn't agree more !
This is still my favorite site to look up information, and look at my old posts , to remember the great times in the past.

What if the vendors that support this site are emailed alerting them of the desperate need to update the site or else all of the participants will migrate to other sites. Seems that the operators of the website seem not to care what we are suggesting.
