Howdy all! A sparky on the jobsite has one for sale, $1500. 1300 hours on the meter. I've never used one, looking for opinions.
Thanx,

Here's 2 Diesels for a price comparison

I'm a miller fan myself if it works right and is in good shape it sounds worth it. What gas motor, is it in good working order?
What kind of goodies does it come with?
Trailer
cables
high frequency box

Do you need that much?
It is also a great generator if you don't use it to weld. Do you need a generator?

Can you do all the welding you need with a little mig machine or stick tombstone?

That is a great deal on a workhorse of a machine. It is also a lot of machine, a friend of mine bought one in 1992 for about 15,000 and his son is still using it in Indiana to build corn cribs. Have a shop check it out and make sure you get the op manual for it...

Thanks gandrfab, Jess too! Didn't get it, some unexpected vehicle bills came up. The guy selling it has had it for sale for a long time, doesn't seem to be in any hurry to be rid of it. I don't need it, just seems like a good deal. If I buy it I'll just hang on to it a little while and sell it.
