At the bottom of the linked page is the NB Super Longhorn Deluxe. I looked at one in person and it looks like a heavy well made pit. The Academy in Edmond, OK (Northside of OKC) has five assembled and ready to load. I asked the price and was told $495.00. That seems like a good buy.

The Long Horn is made from 1/4" rolled steel. It is really a good smoker for the money. There isn't any other mass produced smoker that can touch it. The Char Broil looks good but could never hold temps like the Long Horn just because of the steel. If you can get one for under $500.00 get it. That was the one I was going to buy. But then I went to the Gator Pit site and it was all over but the paying for it. Smile

The "Super Longhorn Deluxe" looked to me like it was made of 3/16" steel. But it was a good looking smoker. What say I run by there and pick one up, then scoot down to San Antonio and trade you for that little ole Gator pit your getting?
