My homedepot had a little sale on this stuff a while back. It was $4.99 and on sale for 2.89. So I bought 40 bags. That should start a few fires!

That Rancher is good stuff... I've still got about 60+ bags of it out in the shed from when HD had it on sale earlier in the year...

James.

I'm down to my last 100 lbs. Wish I could find more.

I have 32 bags left from clearing out most of the LaPlace HD inventory earlier this year at $2.99 / bag.

It sure would be nice if we knew where & when we could find it again though, other than hunting down 'leftover' inventory or driving to Charlotte, NC.

Last time I spoke with Eric Krause (prez of OCC) he said they had high hopes that they would achieve standard stock status with Home Depot in 2008, but wasn't able to narrow it down better than that.

He also said he'd keep me informed as to the progress - haven't heard from him. I'll probably shoot him an email in early January asking if there's any news.

I'd encourage everybody to do what some of us did back when the original stock ran out - barrage Home Depot with emails asking them to stock Rancher. I pop one off to them once a month at least.

I have also been in contact with E.Krauss. I have been letting him know that the demand seems higher than the supply. I'm down to about 160lbs. so I hope they figure it out by the beggining of spring.

I've got about 12 bags left. I only use it for grilling though; I still use lump in the Stump.

Well, now down to 57 bags... was at the HD today and I didn't see it... The two folks there that I asked had never heard of it. Time for an email campaign!

James.

Does anyone have the home depot item number or UPC code so I can ask if any of my local home depots have rancher or can get it in.
