Another question: When one wants to make a big batch of this sauce do you just double, triple, etc. the sauce directions to get the
amount you need?
It's not done in a Linear fashion like this on some recipes, therefore the question.

How much does the standard recipe make, I really need this to know how much to multiply the original recipe?

Any other advice, feel free to add.

I usually do a 4X recipe. Makes about 1-1/2 qt.
I just multiply everything by 4 and go for it.
Can't tell the difference between a single batch or big one.

Thank you, that's what I need to know before I start. Do you happen to remember how much that 4 X recipe made in cups/pints or whatever? This will tell me how many containers I need to sterilize and have ready.

How much does the standard recipe make in cups or whatever measurement you have available to you?

Dang.. I dont know for sure.. it does depend on how much you simmer it down. I have made it thin and thick.. so your milage may vary.

I would think almost a cup and a half.

Thank you sir, I can now proceed with confidence of how much to make for all the people requesting it without worring about having to start another batch.

I quadrupled the original recipe,
and it made just over 2 litres, which would be just over 2 quarts. Very Happy
