JR Tobacco is the chit! Great deals and always fresh well kept cigars. I agree Canadian Bacon, their "JR" named products are decent. Especially for the price.

Bolivar's of any size or flavor are my favorites. Strange thing is I've smoked the Bolivar Cubans...I like the Dominican better.
I'm sure it was a Bolivar that was in my hand when a "famous" picture of me was posted here holding it...too close to food Shocked Laughing

4 pages, but no mention of anything by Moore & Bode cigars from Miami??

There used to be a place north of Chicago named "The Old Chicago Smoke Shop" that carried Moore & Bode, whenever I found myself within 40 miles of the place, I had to make the trip there.

Big Orson set me up rather nicely a few years back, And I feel the need to thank him once again for his generous mailing that I had received.

We have nothing for a decent smoke shop up this way, and I am not comfortable with mail order quite yet. I'll give J&R a try, thanx for the heads up.

Harry it's been awhile since I ordered from JR ( over a year ) but they used to have "sample" packs. Meaning packages of 3 - 5 cigars so you can try without the investment / waste of money on a whole box. They had many different brands available too.

I heard of those Moore & Bode from a friend but have never tried them. Next time I'm in Chitown I'll try to get over there. I prefer Chicago in warm weather so it'll be awhile

In the humidors at the moment...

Cuban :
Cohiba Siglo VI Tubed
Cohiba Esplendidos
Montecristo Nbr 2
Punch Punch
Vegas Robaina Unicos
Vegas Robaina Familiar
Partagas 898 Varnished
Partagas Serie D
Trinidad Robusto
Bolivar Immensas
Cuaba - the mid sized ones, forgotten the name

Others :
A range (about 50 or so) that I bought in JRs for an absolute ridiculous price a couple of years back!

Picked up a few custom rolls from Jorge while he was rolling at a Toronto cigar shop. While not cheap, there is something nice about smoking a fresh cigar every now and then.

I think I'm going to have an Upmann PC while watching Barrett-Jackson tonight. The trick is keeping the drool off of the cigar.

I am a huge CI fan their delivery is inexpensive and incredibly fast. And they have killer deals at times.

In about three weeks I have a meeting in Miami and am planning on visiting Don Jose Pepin Garcia's shop. Can't wait. I was suppose to go a while back but it was canceled..rescheduled baby!

I met Rocky a few years ago. He is a supper nice guy. I bought a box of the vintage 1990's that he signed, not that it is more valuable or anything but still kinda cool. There are only a few Rocky cigars that im not a fan of.

I still have a couple of those Cuban Monte Cristos from my fall visit to Niagara Falls. Been saving them for a special occasion. If one doesn't come up soon I am going to have to create one..... Rolling Eyes

I guess I'll ask this here, since we seem to have some knowledgeable smokers here. Are there any cigarillos on the market that aren't machine made crap? I'm fairly new to the cigar smoking world (I can count the number I've smoked on a shop teacher's hand), so I don't really know what's out there. The little searching I've done hasn't turned up anything.
