Thanks to all who have shared their uds building tips here. I just completed my first uds about 2 weeks ago. Have used it twice and it is phenomenal. I'm glad my old brinkman quit on me now. Ribs, chicken and even a fatty or two turned out better on my new uds than it ever did on my old smoker. Anyone thinking of building one , definitely should. Once you get it going, it will do the rest.

Congrats on your build. I love my UDS. I'm getting ready to launch a ebook on the uds. I would love to quote you from this. For helping me out I will send you a copy of the book. Your testimony will be used on the website promoting the book. All I need is your permission and your name, if you care to, add your city and state.

Thanks
P.S you can drop me a line at Kevin@KLWhetzel.com

Right on Greg. The more you use it the better it will cook. I have 3 of them and they are my go to cookers.
