i was talking to my girls and we decided that a brisket sandwich sounded pretty good. well we quickly got side tracked into what would be really good on a brisket sandwich. so now im on the quest to build the Ultimate Brisket Sandwich. Ringers i am calling on you for your help with my quest.

1. what do you like on your brisket sandwich?

2. if you had all the time in the world and any topping at arms reach, what would you put on it to set your Ultimate Brisket Sandwich apart from anyone else and make it the one true Ultimate?

My Ultimate Brisket Sandwich (UBS) would be layered thus... ordered from the bottom to the top:

Pulled Pork
Sliced Flat
Burnt Ends
Two Pork Ribs (bone in)
Bacon

Required drink is either Big Red, NuGrape, or Orange Crush. Beer may be introduced after the first drink is finished.

Sauce on the side. Any side dishes and condiments (such as pickle, jalapenos, onion and cheese(?)) also on the side... but available to be an added layer the the UBS.

The pork additions to the UBS offend my Texas upbringing and the bacon is added here as a garnish. But this cardiac nightmare lineup highly appeals to my BBQ senses and my desire to have geographic BBQ harmony in a sandwich. Shocked

I can't say how good a sandwich it would make. But it would make for one heck of a fun cook!

I hate to oversimplify, and this is not what you are looking for, but all I want is white bread with sliced brisket and a chunk of chedder on the side. Tom

1. Brisket or Burnt ends
2. Loaf of white bread
3. Heat meat and eat

Maybe some extra sauce or rub to apply as needed.
Ice cold beer to wash it all down with.

Just the way I like it, too.
Well, may a Premium Grain Belt in place of the PBR.
