k.a.m., where did I get lost on the flame thrower quick coupling?
It looks like it's angled up to the bottom of the fire box, am I wrong, and what's it for? |

Thank You Logtrucker, I am trying to knock out as many little things as I can with out causing the painters to much more work.
Thank You George, The coupling in the back of the trailer will be attached to a 3/8" stainless line running to the front and attached to the propane bottle. The coupling in the rear will have a quick connect much like an air chuck and my flame flower hose will have the other end. I can light my fire with it then disconnect from the trailer. The half moon guard is to protect the quick connect from being knocked off.
I hope this helps. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Kevin She has come together very nicely, very nice indeed. I have been on a big project and not able to post alot here lately and check in on your progress. Great Job as always. I now have a 500 gallon tank and a extra 16 ft trailer in my possession and have to figure out what to build out of it. I see so many ideas here. Once again Great Job......... _________________ Randy

Nice idea with the flame thrower. Fellas, it's not to start his fire with, it's to burn down the competition. Can't wait to see it painted. Tell em to hurry up. _________________ "Never trust a skinny cook."

Flamethrower? Is this going to be some kind of James Bond trailer? _________________ Pat

I am stil waiting on te word to deliver to the painters so I decided to add somwe handles to my tuning plates. At first I did not want them but after moving them around while test firing its a good idea.
I also built a mini me flame thrower for the trailer. I did not need my big one to light the cooker so I came up with this.

Kevin, those painters better take that thing away, otherwise the job is gonna keep getting bigger.
Looks good, the handles may prove to be a wise addition.
Be careful, the Mrs. looks too happy with mini me, could get ya later on. |

Thank You George, I like the way the handles turned out, the curve design is a SoEzzy design and I like it.
Here is a night time pic of the flame about maxed out. It is running on a 15PSI regulator. If the collector tube was a bit longer I could clean up the flame but it lights a bed of coals quite fast as is and much lighter than my light saber.
