I must say that is a nice looking smoker. Is this a water smoker? It reminds me of a backwoods smoker. I would like to build my own smoker and have been looking here to see what others come up with.

excellent work on the smoker an the grub looks great too.

reminds me of childhood building smokers out of old fridges with my dad.

just said to the wife, "that's like an ol' fridge smoker....on steroids"!!!

k.a.m.: Thanks, I saw your builds earlier and like them as well

Sgt. Stel: Thanks

ridgerunner: Thanks, learning to weld is easy for this kind of stuff fabricating takes a little while, but its a lot of fun to say "yeah, I built that."

roscoe1960: Thanks, yes, it works well

Big Ron: Thanks

BBQ Dreamer: I did

carrot guper: Thanks, yes it has a water tray

ollllllo: The baffles create a charcoal maze. I light a small pile of charcoal at one end then fill the rest of the trey with unlit charcoal and top it off with hickory chunks. It allows for longer cook times.

Tres Huevos: Thanks, My dad picked it up from a buddy that does hvac work Its 500 degree insulation. It was mostly scraps he had leftover Ceramic wool works better though. You find it online if you google for it.

A friend wants to build one, after seeing the pit I built last month.
I showed him this and would work perfect for what he wants.

If anyone has design plans it would be great.
I am in Buenos Aires so buying one is out of the question.
