Have I been overlooking this forum or is it brand new?
I've been toying with the idea of learning to weld so I can build the smoker I want without breaking the bank. I was about to make a nuisance of myself in the general discussion and cooker forums. Now I can just lurk here a while and learn a little bit before asking questions.

Thank You Logtrucker. Very Happy

Virginiasmoke, this is a new section I have been working on with SoEzzy for a bit. I dug up a lot of old posts and SoEzzy put it together for us.

What kind of welding will you be answering questions on? I have heard of arc welding and mig welding from one of my friends. What kind would you use to make a barbque? I am a complete beginner and don't even know what question to ask.

general, on any given type of cooker you could use any or all forms of welding. I started this section so beginners as well as veterans could interact and help each other. If you have a specific question I believe as a group we can help. Smile
