ok. due to an unfortunate accident last weekend, my trailer mounted offset is a total loss. Shocked I need to replace it quickly, but don't have a fortune. Have any of you ever heard of Beams Custom Smokers out of Alabama? They have some good looking pits and prices. I just can not afford to make a mistake, if anyone lives near there and would go check one out for meThanks in advance, this is kind of urgent as I have several cooks scheduled.

I know nothing about them, but they do look pretty good, and the prices look great. Sorry for you loss, glad you are ok and good luck with the hunt.

I don't know anything about them either, but they do have nice looking designs and good prices. I did not see anything about the thickness of steel they use.
I see they have a rental program so there might be a possibility of a "loaner" you could use to see if you like it. Kind of a rent to own thing

Adam,

The RS-02 looks kind of like the Lang that you were wanting to get. These look really nice and their prices are dirt cheap!!! If you wind up getting one, let me know when you get back in town so I can come over and check it out. Keep us posted...

wow, i was about to say there are some decent looking items on the Dallas CL this morning but these prices even with travel expenses blow it away. If someone can confirm quality of these, I may have to follow you out there.

Call this # in Cedar Hill, they are a dealer for Big Hat but make all of there own trailer smokers, had some really nice ones on the lot. 972-293-0377.

If they're product is of good quality, they're about to get a lot more business.

whitey -
(from the thread about Regional Meets...Adam tells what happened)
Thanks guys, SoEzzy, yes you are reading it correctly. The only casualty was the cooker so thats good. I thought I was a gonner! Scared the crap out of me, but turned out as good as an accident can. One of the wheels locked up on the trailer and jerked me and the trailer off of the interstate. Trailer and cooker are a complete loss Don't have much cash to replace it so thinking about building. So crapped out right now it makes me sick, I have jobs to do!
