|
|
So i made myself a welding table the other day, and had some time to kill today so i made a few upgrades to it. Added a hanger for the chipping hammer, and a rack to hold my grinders. Also added the remote ground tab.
Now that the table is organized, maybe I should so the rest of the garage.
Real problem is I don't have any place to put most of it. I might have to many toys. _________________ 22.5 Weber Kettle

I know, they came from my mom's house when she sold it. She wanted me to try and sell them. One is a 15pt the other is a 10. _________________ 22.5 Weber Kettle

I like the table very nice work. You need some casters so you can roll it around. _________________ Always remember slow and steady wins the race.

Thought about that, but the garage floor is not real flat, I have to shim one leg. _________________ 22.5 Weber Kettle

If you put a turnbuckle on one end you could adjust the height. Like a third member on a three point hitch. Just a thought. _________________ Keep on Rolling Smoke

You can always do something like this.
I did this for my drill press stand. Just go to HD and find some nice big nuts and bolts and then weld the bolt to the frame and you then have adjustable feet to stop rocking for less than 5 bucks. I added a second nut so I could lock the bolt in place so it would not turn in or out from virations. _________________ Santa Maria BBQ

just relooked at your table and it was a tripod all you have to do to fix the shim problem is weld a 1/2 inch rod coupling to each side of your rectangle tube and put a capscrew thru it and snug it to the ground and when you move it just adjust accordingly .....we weld a rod coupling to all our pipe stands for fine tuning pipe layout hope this helps _________________ RF Smoker

That is a nice table. If I had money that would be what i had, but I don't so I used a bunch of stuff that I had. _________________ 22.5 Weber Kettle

| Thanks K.A.M. it was a lot of fun building it upside down and then flipping it over with a chain hoist. If i ever get some free time, i will be using it to build a smoker |
