Me and my wife are considering opening a BBQ joint in Iowa city, iowa. i have done a ton of searches for anything pertaining to BBQ business. my question of anyone, of they know where can i find distro for meat. whole chicken, ribs, pork shoulders, and brisket. this seems to be a stopping point for us as we are not sure where we would get the meat to even start this endeavor. i know the old costco ( not in my neck of woods) or sams, but i want quality meat at resonable prices that deliver

any help would be highly appreciated.

thanks
Bill

Check into Sysco or U.S. Foods. They should both be able to provide you with what you need. I can't think of any other distributors off the top of my head.

you got unlimited purveyors by you.

Consider going to the Chicago restaurant show, anything & everything you could ever want will be there!!

off the top of my head i can think of harkers, Sysco, Kraft food service, the list goes on forever. just ask any restaurant owner who they use and make a list.
