Not sure if this is what you are looking for but this is how I do beans on the smoker. This is the approximate way, I never measure and always change things up.
3 large cans basic baked beans
1 # ground beef
1 # smoked sausage, diced (I use andouille)
1/2 # bacon diced
1 sweet onion diced
6 or more diced jalapeno
1 red pepper diced
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cid vin
whatever rub I use for whatever I'm smoking
Mix everything together and set on smoker under whatever I'm smoking. Cook until the food is off and the beans have thickened. Last time I did these it took 5 hours at 235 and another hour with the smoker cranked to 350 to thicken up. Everyone loves it! _________________ In the shadows of Lambeau |

Copied this from the ring earlier this month, sorry I can't remember who to credit:
Drip Beans
Ingredients
2 Large Cans of Bush's Original Baked Beans - undrained (the 1 lb 12 oz cans I think)
2 large yellow onions - chopped
2/3 cup BBQ sauce (any brand will do)
1 entire yellow bell pepper - diced
1 entire red bell pepper - diced
1/3 cup syrup - either maple or cane
1/3 cup molasses
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
3 tsp dry mustard
1-1/2 cups BBQ pulled pork - chopped (pulled pork, rib meat, brisket, etc...from your last Que or whatever is in the freezer)
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 lb uncooked bacon slices - cut in quarters (After 3 hours, add the bacon) (I don't always add the bacon if I have a lot of PP or rib meat in already)
1-4 shots Tabasco Sauce (to taste)
Optional (add any of your fav heat like chile powder, jalapenos, etc)
Mix all together put on lower grate of smoker under pork ribs or pork butt and smoke for six hours. _________________ Bubba Grills 250-R |

Do Drip Beans freeze well? I was thinking about smoking some pork ribs and making a batch of drip bean also. Then I was thinking about freezing the extra ribs and beans to take camping in a couple of weeks. _________________ Brinkman Cimarron Offset

Drip beans get their name by allowing drippings from some pork product, ribs, butts, etc., to mix in with the beans.
I don't get so fancy with mine. I take regular baked beans, mix in some brown sugar and molasses, and let the pork drippings do their magic.
Edit: I just noticed that I responded to a 4 year old post. _________________ My current cookers: 80 gallon vertical tank

Bob, IMO beans don't freeze well. they get kinda mushy. YMMV _________________ My current cookers: 80 gallon vertical tank
