Happy St. Patty's day fellow 'Ringers. This will probably be my last coherent thought for the day , I've got an Irish-ish bar two blocks from my house, so...
Here's to a long life and a happy one, to a quick death and an easy one, to a beautiful woman and an honest one, to a cold beer and another one! Make sure your kilt is short enough to do a jig but long enough to hide your Lucky Charms!!! Happy Saint Patrick's Day everyone!!!
Now, bring on the Jameson _________________ ~Joe

65 degrees here today. Good time to get the golf cart out & head to Sirsmokalots bar. Living on a golf course has its advantages. Just got try & stay outta the hazards & ditches on the way home. _________________ I'm simple & I can prove it. |

You will all be happy to know I survived. Actually a bummer of a morning Sucks azz when you get to your regular hang out and it's full of nothing but extremely annoying and irregular fawktards Had a mini pitcher of overly green PBR, a plate of overcooked mush, and a chitty shot of Jameson mixed with homemade Bailey's Irish Cream (I had no choice ) At the tavern at 07:00, home and on the couch by 10:30. I don't think I'll be partaking in the festivities next year _________________ ~Joe

I haven't checked in for some time..
The St. Patricks season was kinda busy. The 2 weekends before, I was down the pub with the Irish Dancers. Kinda like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47dwbbpYSTM
A couple days before St. Patrick's I switched Pipes, having determined the "beater" set wasn't loud enough. So here I am with those, and another PIper that was here for St. Patricks. http://www.youtube.com/user/LightningMesaPiper Thats at the Dancers big show, mostly for the parents.
On St. Patrick's day itself I played from Noon till midnight. The last 3 hours of which, I could have used a bucket on the side of the stage... {I only had two Guinness's and very little to eat...so it wasnt a case of being too liquored up...} but I kept on going. _________________ Traeger 075 "Big Tex"
