Hey Everyone,

I have just started a BBQ business in Vancouver WA.
And have been firing up my smoker everyday, it is a converted 500 gal
propane tank/ with large fire box. I burn hardwoods only, and after all this
use it is getting creosote build up pretty bad.
My question to all of you out there is what is the best way to keep my pit clean? and what can I use to get rid of that black thick creosote build up.

Thanks

PigHeaven

If your getting creosote, your not burning a clean fire!

Otherwise, a weed burner will help you remove any crusted accumulation.

Knock off any loose crusty's with a wire brush, and you should be all set! Very Happy

I burn a LOT of wood, and there is some build up over time- it just can't be helped! I wash my rig out at the carwash with greased lightning cleaner and high pressure, but I don't have a rust problem! Wink
