I am a 100% newbie that has smoked a total of never! I have always been intrigued by it but never pulled the trigger on a smoker. Well I broke down last weekend and picked up a like brand new made in the USA Bandera for $200 off Craigslist. I am SUPER stoked to try and figure this dude out and start smoking away! I am reading up LOTS on here so as not to jack up the first one too bad! : )

Welcome aboard court. Nice to see you.

With a new cooker it might not be a bad idea to just run it a few hours with no meat in it or something real cheep (chicken) so that the learning curve of knowing the cooker isn't so stressful or costly. JM2C
